Each year the First Nations Tax Administrators Association hosts a conference on First Nations Property Taxation and related topics. The conference provides an opportunity to stay informed in an ever evolving field.
In the past few years, the FNTAA has held a joint event with the Tulo Centre of Indigenous Economics Alumni Banquet.
The FNTAA Annual General Meeting and Board of Directors elections are held every second year at the conference.
Attendance at the FNTAA Annual National Forum meets the professional development requirement for Certified First Nations Tax Administrators.
The Annual Forum is of benefit to: Tax Administrators, Chief and Council, Band Administrators, Financial Officers, Lands Managers, Economic Development Officers, Legal Counsel and Consultants working with First Nations.
